Make My Tuesday: The Scenic Drive supports baker to raise funds
Updated | By Scenic Drive With Rian
The Scenic Drive set out to help baker Taye Francis to raise funds to buy her apartment.
Taye Francis, 35, from Roodepoort is a baker who lives with her elderly mother. Francis applied for her first home loan, but after experiencing difficulties with paying the transfer fees, she has set out to ask for help.
Francis has saved R12,000 to pay the transfer fees, but she had to pay R4,000 to fix her car. And due to the lockdown, she had to use most of that to help her family during this difficult time.
Francis is absolutely desperate for help - and the Scenic Drive team came to her rescue, by offering her free advertising (on-air for a week) to help her pay her transfer fees for her apartment.
Francis started using Facebook to advertise her goods - and she has two months to raise the funds.
You can also assist and support Taye Francis by ordering something sweet from her by contacting 0713203850 or 0618403315.
