Make My Monday: New trainers for student who walks 5km to library every day
With the help of Clearwater Mall and Rare Steakhouse, the Scenic Drive team was able to assist Surprise Mashifane with brand new trainers to make her walk to the library a bit more bearable.
"Getting new trainers for my 5km walk to the library every day would Make My Monday," Surprise Mashifane wrote to the Scenic Drive.

"Since the University of South Africa is an open distance learning institution and you can't really study at home with all the distractions, I've been walking every day to the library since February and it's taking a toll on my shoe longevity, so getting new running shoes would make it easier.
