Make My Monday: A new bicycle for a colleague to get to work
Johannes Botma received a new bicycle worth R5,000 after his colleague wrote to the Scenic Drive.
Bernita Pillay wrote for the Scenic Drive team to make her colleague's Monday.
"My name is Bernita Pillay and my request for 'Make My Monday' is not for myself but for one of my colleagues, Johannes Botma, that works with me at Scania Alrode."

Botma was recently notified that their division needs to relocate offices. Due to the relocation, he had to get new accommodation that is affordable. He walks to work and has no other means of transport.
"He is financially not in a position to get himself any form of transport, as he is a divorced father and most of his income goes towards maintenance of his ex-wife and children," Pillay wrote.
Pillay added, "He is such a good-hearted person who is always friendly and always has a smile on his face - even when life gets difficult."
