With the help of SPAR and MasterChef, the Scenic Drive was able to help two family members to start a food business.
Two family members started a home-cooked meal food business but they were in need of help with food and pots.

SPAR and MasterChef came together to help the business owners to get their business, Die Kombuis/ The Kitchen started.
"My Make My Monday request is for my sister-in-law and myself. We want to start a home-cooked meal service. There is a great demand for it as well as frozen meals. We also do pickled goods. My sister-in-law Didi is a chef and makes the most delicious food. We have been talking for a long time about starting our own business but never have," Nickey Jooste wrote.
"I lost my job in February and think now is the right time, especially since my sister-in-law also lost her job.
All we need is a boost to buy the first month's stock. In time we will get all the other things we are going to need," Jooste continued.
Compliments of SPAR:
- An R5000 SPAR voucher to get your business going with some supplies
- SPAR is currently running a promotion where you can save up to 75% on MasterChef aluminium cookware, by collecting stickers for every R100 spent.
- SPAR is also giving you a set of MasterChef pots and pans to the value of R8000!
