Make My Monday: Grocery voucher worth R2,000 for listener
With the help of Goldwagen, the Scenic Drive team was able to assist a listener's girlfriend with a grocery voucher.
The Scenic Drive team received a letter from Noel Bettesworth, asking for assistance to buy groceries for his girlfriend.
"I am writing in for my girlfriend (she doesn't know that I am writing to you). She stays with her father and three kids and they rely on his pension to survive which is hard at times. She doesn't ask for help as she doesn't want to be a burden on anyone, I do help as much as I can. She has the most amazing heart and would do anything for anyone. I wanted to know if you could help with a month's groceries as this would help them a lot."
