At the start of 2019, The Scenic Drive team introduced a fun way to help you get cooking with the ingredients that sometimes would leave you baffled. Every Wednesday, internationally acclaimed chef Fortunato Mazzone joins the team to share his culinary magic with Scenic Drive listeners.
But this week, Rian had a prank up his sleeve...
'Marrietjie' from Pretoria sent the team a voice note with the five ingredients left in her cupboard:
- Pilchards
- Marshmallows
- Gem Squashes
- Eat-sum-more biscuits
- Marmite
Chef Forti - being the pro that he is - came up with a meal to make with these ridiculous ingredients... Only to find out that 'Marrietjie' is actually well-loved South African comedian, Marion Holm.
