Beyoncé Giselle Knowles-Carter is one of the best-selling recording artists in the world, having sold more than 120-million albums as a solo artist by 2010. She is the only solo artist to start at number one on the Billboard 200 with her first six studio albums.

The American singer, songwriter, and actress announced the news of her song by updating her social media bios to ''6 .BREAK MY SOUL midnight ET", implying that the song will be the album's sixth track.
She has not said much about the album, other than that it will be released on July 29 and that she has shared photos from a recent photo shoot for British Vogue's July edition.
Jay-Z and Beyonce have historically only published songs on Tidal, but 'Renaissance' will be available on Apple Music and Spotify as well. The album will include 16 tracks, according to Apple Music's pre-order option.
