Footage of a confrontation between a paramedic in Limpopo and a man who caught them driving with booze in an ambulance has surfaced online.
Footage of a man confronting a woman wearing official medical personnel uniform for transporting booze in an ambulance has surfaced online.
In the video, the man is outraged that the woman is picking up alcohol "in a government vehicle". The two shout at each other and the paramedic maintains that the man can't do anything to her.
The paramedic says, "we are human beings at the end of the day", explaining why she doesn't think she is wrong to transport alcohol in her own time, even if she does use an official employer's vehicle.
The man is adamant that she is wrong, while the woman repeatedly asks him: "What are you going to do? What are you going to do about it?"
The incident has sparked outrage among people who are already dissatisfied with the level of service they receive from medical personnel, while others said that the woman should be allowed to do what she wants when she is off-duty.
The incident is currently under investigation.
