Japanese rollercoaster leaves patrons hanging for two hours
Visitors to the Universal Studios amusement park in Japan were left stranded in mid-air for two hours after the popular Flying Dinosaur rollercoaster stalled.
Those
who just can’t get enough of the Jurassic Park movie franchise are only too
glad to find out that they have the option to delve deeper into the world of
the film courtesy of the Universal Studios theme parks.
For hours on end, you
can fancy yourself an intrepid scientist or an expert on reptiles, and if
dinosaurs are not your thing, there are many other fantastical worlds that you
can lose yourself in.

That’s right: the rollercoaster stalled in mid-air and the patrons could do nothing about it for two whole hours.
Reports from local media say the rollercoaster stopped after an abnormality was detected and a safety mechanism came into play.
The incident did not deter visitors from queuing up to ride the Flying Dinosaur, though one mother of three from Hiroshima is quoted as saying: “It’s scary to think (about) if we had been on board. I don’t want to ride it anymore.”
