Jamandi and Machiel Bekker are the husband-and-wife team who won season 1 of M-Net's hit cooking show, My Kitchen Rules South Africa.
Jamandi and Machiel took their passion for adventurous cooking from Bloemfontein to the big screen when they competed on My Kitchen Rules South Africa.
Machiel mentioned that working on dishes for the show gave the couple, who have been married for ten years, the opportunity to expand their skills and learn how to cook new and exciting things.
Proof of this is in their game meat carpaccio, which the Scenic Drive team thoroughly enjoyed.
Jamandi and Machiel celebrated their ten-year anniversary on the same night they took home the R1million grand prize.
Machiel said participating in the show changed their lives, while Jamandi commented that having her husband as her teammate showed her how much love there really is in their marriage.
