Baoti Motau (18) has nine years of experience and has represented South Africa at several competitions. Motau went to Roedean School for Girls and was a prefect and captain of the water polo team. She also played provincial hockey.
Motau is also Joe Mann's niece - and he is her biggest fan.
"It's an incredible accomplishment. I feel like a part of me is going to Japan."
To celebrate the moment - the Scenic Drive celebrated other young Olympians.
Baoti Motau, Kaylene Corbett, Luc Daffarn, and Billy Nthuli joined the Scenic Drive to talk about the exciting new journey that lies ahead.
