The first Scenic #Straatbraai is happening in Atlasville in Boksburg this weekend. Here's what you need to know.
Rian asked listeners to help him bring back the street braai tradition, and you were all keen to participate!
Many of you invited Rian to your neighbourhood for a good old #Straatbraai, and the first one will be hosted in Atlasville, Boksburg.
Scenic Drive listeners in Atlasville can come together on Friday, 23 February between 16:00 and 21:00 for the #Straatbraai. Bring your own cooler boxes, meat, and camp chairs, and feel free to use one of the braai stands that will be provided by Jacaranda FM.
And don't worry about safety: there will be security guards at the venue controlling parking and access to the main area.
We at the Scenic Drive are all about family, so bring your children along as well! There will be a play area where they can keep themselves busy and stay out of trouble.
The winning potato salad from Quinton Button is one of the main attractions of the night, and if you are quick you might get a picture or two with Marcelle, Thabiso, and Rian.
