Firefighter completes bike race in uniform to remember fallen colleagues

Nkosi Mzolo completed a bike race in his full uniform with an oxygen bottle weighing 21.5kg to remember his fallen colleagues.
If they are not saving little kittens from trees or drains - they are saving the lives of humans in the most dangerous fires.

Nkosi Mzolo, 34, recently completed a bike race in his full uniform with an oxygen bottle weighing 21.5kg to remember his beloved colleagues that he lost.
He finished the 97km route last Sunday in five hours and 35 minutes - his best time yet.

Mzolo said that riding with his full uniform and gear is actually not as hot as the inside of a burning house.
Mzolo, who obtained a bachelor of technology degree in fire technology from the Tshwane University of Technology this year, is now the acting shift commander at the Hunters Hill Fire Station in Randburg.
He visited the Scenic Drive to talk about his incredible work as a firefighter.
