Extraterrestrial life is hypothetical life that may occur outside Earth - and which did not originate on Earth. 

The endlessly fascinating question of whether we are alone in the universe has always been accompanied by doubts and a plethora of unknowns.

If there is extraterrestrial life, how would we communicate with it? If we send a message into space, will extraterrestrial beings receive it? Will they understand? What languages will they speak? The questions are endless.

But the biggest question we always ask is, is mankind really alone in the universe?

Expert Daniel Cunnama, a Science Engagement Astronomer, joined the Scenic Drive to talk about this topic. 

"There is almost certainly life on other planets. Life is likely but encountering it is very unlikely. It is just too far away."
