Can you help Rian with more information about this shocking assault in Randfontein?

On Sunday, footage of what appears to be an armed assault outside a restaurant at Tambotie Mall in Randfontein surfaced online. 

In the video, a group of four white men is seen running up to and attacking one black man outside a Mugg & Bean. 

The staff of the restaurant appear shocked and confused, while the person who is filming the video asks why no one is doing anything to help. 
"What's happening? Why doesn't anyone help?" 

From the left side of the frame, two men in jogging clothes approach the situation. A scuffle starts, and it becomes difficult to see who is fighting with whom.

As the four men continue to beat and kick the man on the ground, the woman is heard saying "He has a gun!", before turning to the people she is with and saying they should leave: "we can't stand here and watch", she says. 

Jacquie Schultz, marketing executive for Mugg & Bean, said in a statement that none of the staff or customers were involved in the altercation, and added that Mugg & Bean had been "advised that the SAPS attended the scene and in conjunction with the Mall management are investigating the incident".

Lenette Nordin, part of centre management at Tambotie Mall, has told the Randfontein Herald that the mall was not the target of the attack, and that patrons are still welcome.

The details about the motive for the attack or the identity of the people involved are still not known.
