'Britain's smallest prisoner' runs riot on social media
Updated | By The Scenic Drive with Rian
Aiden Henry may only be three feet tall, but he knows how to cause a world of trouble.
Prison officials in the United Kingdom has struggled to curtail the use of cellphones by inmates. The number of reported social media accounts run by inmates is reported to be 1,000. Many of these have since been closed down.
But authorities did not get to Aiden Henry's account in time. Aiden, convicted for burglary and dubbed "Britain's smallest prisoner" due to his slight three-foot (just under one metre) build, has been building up a large following on Instagram and Snapchat.
Aiden has apparently made some good friends in prison, as he is often surrounded by a group of supporters in the videos that he posts. They seem to enjoy the stories about his exploits on the outside and are always up to play a game or two with Aiden.

The fact that Aiden has found comrades in prison is not the disturbing news here; it is the fact that this is not the first time that Aiden has been caught filming himself for social media from inside the prison.
The Mail Online reports that Aiden has nearly 60,000 followers on both Instagram and Snapchat, a remarkable feat in light of prison authorities' insistence that using cellphones to post to social media from prison could result in extended sentences.
Are the threats of punishment real if hundreds of prisoners continue to create public social media accounts?
