Bradley Cooper opens up about depression and drug abuse

'A Star Is Born' actor Bradley Cooper recently opened up about struggling with depression and drug abuse during the early 2000s.

Bradley Cooper, who is well-known for this role in 'A Star Is Born', recently opened up about struggling with depression and drug abuse in the early 2000s.

During a sit-down interview with podcast hosts Jason Bateman, Will Arnett, and Sean Hayes, Cooper spoke about "how lost" he felt. 

"I was addicted to cocaine," Cooper shared. 

"I was totally depressed," he added.

Arnett helped Cooper to overcome his struggles. 

"He took that risk of having a hard conversation with me that put me on a path of deciding to change my life," Cooper revealed. 

Arnett was "the reason" he went sober.
