Apple employees can't stop walking into glass doors
Updated | By The Workzone with Barney Simon
Apple employees working at the company's headquarters in Cupertino, California have been unable to tell the difference between glass walls and automatic doors, resulting in serious injuries.
Working at a stylish, high-tech building is not always as much fun as it sounds. While Apple employees are at the forefront of innovation in their daily work, it seems there is one thing that they still can't wrap their heads around: how to avoid walking into a glass door head-on.
In February, US emergency service 911 received numerous calls from Apple employees reporting accidents. Employees who were unable to judge whether they were walking towards a window or an automatic glass door hit their heads, and some ended up with bleeding cuts.

Observers online have pointed to the irony of the aesthetically pleasing design of the Apple offices being the cause of injury for its employees. Some commented that this is another consequence of Apple 'prioritising form over function'.

Employees previously tried to mark the doors with Post-Its, but had to remove them because they 'took away from the building's design'.
