Sandilands will soon be seen in a movie called, 'News Of The World', with award-winning actor Tom Hanks

The movie is about the rescue of a young girl who has been kidnapped.

Sandilands joined the Scenic Drive for a telephonic interview to talk about the brand new movie and being in South Africa during the lockdown.

"I came to South Africa before the lockdown. I had some family business to finalise - so I am here now.

"I am also in South Africa for a Showmax drama. Things are currently on pause due to the lockdown.

"To work internationally is not always about the accent, however, for me, it is about the authenticity of the character that I need to portray.

"My part in that movie with Tom Hanks is really small. The movie will be released on the 25th of December," Sandilands.
