The year 2017 has been an interesting one for Afrikaans celeb news - and Jacaranda FM was there to give you the scoop.

Celebrities are notoriously private, but once they step into studio with the likes of Barney Simon and Rian van Heerden, they feel free to reveal one or two interesting tidbits about their lives.
Take Amor Vittone, for instance. In August Amor phoned into Jacaranda FM studios for a chat with Barney, and shared a little bit about her high school days, her daily routine with her kids, and what needs to happen before she will consider getting married again.

Wedding bells may still be in the distant future for Amor while she focuses on her children, but what does Nadine, our other favourite presenter and singer have to say about the topic?
Earlier this year, Nadine was linked to South African rugby player Derick Hougaard in rumours of a new romance. Nadine joined Rian on his last edition of the Complimentary Breakfast to put the rumours to rest once and for all:
Nadine said that she and Derick are just good friends. But when Derick joined the conversation, things seemed to take a turn.
While Diane, Thabiso and Rian played soft violin music in the background to set the mood, Derick mentioned that he felt nervous and he was "blushing". Derick said there was definitely something between him and Nadine, but they were not sure what it was yet:
So, no confirmation from either Nadine or Derick about the status of their relationship. But you can't blame Rian and the team for trying: the two would make a great couple.
When they are not trying to (lovingly) squeeze relationship details out of celebrities, the Jacaranda FM presenters do love to have a fun interview or two.
