Wits University celebrates 100 years with Times Square billboard in NY

University has been celebrating their centenary year with many events, but this
one was truly amazing.
On Monday the 19th of September, Wits University invited New York-based South Africans to come celebrate in Times Square.

The university managed to bag a spot on a large billboard in the middle of Times Square to broadcast the celebration.
Vice-Chancellor Zeblon Zenzele Vilakazi said in a statement that the celebration would be a way to cement Wits as one of the world's best universities.
The original statement read:

CALLING ALL WITSIES AND SOUTH AFRICANS IN MANHATTAN, NEW YORK!
