Texting and driving has become a reason for more accidents on the roads, just like this one that happened on Van Reenen's pass.
Van Reenen's pass is one of the scariest roads to drive in South Africa, with the deadly turns combined with the mist and the rain. Most drivers dread this stretch of road in the most pristine conditions.
However, this truck driver thought it would be a great idea to text and drive while traveling down the pass.

What makes this video even more absurd is that like today’s weather, it was raining heavily and the visibility was poor.
