WATCH: A tribute to all smokers from a fellow smoker
Cigarette sales have been banned for close to two months in South Africa due to COVID-19 and many smokers are missing their nicotine.
A video dedicated to cigarettes is being shared widely with smokers sharing their unified longing for their favourite brands of nicotine.
In the emotional video, different brands of cigarettes make an appearance, with Wiz Khalifa's 'See You Again' playing in the background. The words 'I miss you' and 'I want a skyf' appear on the screen, accompanied by a crying emoji and a broken heart emoji.

Smokers have communicated their frustrations with the lockdown laws that prevent them from buying tobacco products, saying that they should be allowed to smoke and buy cigarettes as these are essential to them. A few weeks ago, it seemed there would be hope for smokers when the President announced that cigarettes would return to the shelves, but those hopes were soon destroyed when the government made a u-turn on the decision.
