mom was extremely lucky she had her little hero around!
Ten-year-old Gavin Keeney has made headlines after he heroically saved his mother’s life.

In the video, you see Gavin and his mom Lori taking a dip in their backyard pool when Lori suddenly has a seizure.
Gavin leapt into action and grabbed his mom, dragging her to the side of the pool all the while keeping her head just above the water.
Lori’s floundering at the edge of the pool spooked their dogs who got the attention of her father, Stephen.
Stephen rushed to the pool and managed to help Gavin pull his mother out the water.
When asked about the incident, Lori commented: “I'm okay, I took in just a little water we think before Gavin got me. I can't believe I just said that. I can't believe I'm typing this. I CAN believe what I saw in Gavin, my little hero.”
What makes Gavin even more amazing is the fact that this is not the first time he has saved his mom’s life.
The first time he saved her life she was choking on a chip, which made Gavin try the Heimlich maneuver, but he just was not strong enough, so he called 911.

This first rescue effort earned him a place as an honorary member of the local fire department.
