After plenty of hard work, a young leopard managed to bring down a warthog, but before it could settle down to eat, the unexpected happened.

While the leopard was holding down the warthog, two male lions snuck around a dune and one of them pounced on the leopard.

The lion had the leopard by its neck, and while it eventually managed to escape the death hold, it did lose its prey to the lions.
