What is it with the Kardashian-Jenner clan and wanting a slice of everything including first dibs on names? Names which have been used forever. Really.

Wanting first dibs on names, trends and just fame is nothing new to the Kardashian-Jenners.

Not too long ago, the clan's matriarch Kris Jenner wanted to trademark the term 'momager'. Yes. While so many young popstars and actors including Brandy and Usher in recent years have been managed by their mothers. Wow.

In a new row, Australian pop superstar Kylie Minogue - who has been relevant since the 80s to this day - has taken the youngest of K-gang to court.

Turns out that 18-year-old Kylie Jenner is looking to also get full dibs on the use of the name 'Kylie'. Yes. The reality TV star is looking to trademark the name and wants no one else but her to use this name, despite it being quite a common first name for many women around the world, including pop royalty in the form of Kylie Minogue.

Mashable reports that part of Minogue's opposition to Jenner's application also includes the fact that the former has existing trademark registrations for entertainment services, for which Jenner has also filed a trademark application for, as well as for music recordings, according to the World Intellectual Property Review.
