WATCH: Hero policeman pulls woman out of burning trailer
A policeman leaped into action the moment he heard that a woman was trapped in a burning trailer.
The incident took place in Texas, USA. Deputy, Roberto Martinez, had a bodycam on him which recorded the heroic act.
The heartstopping video showed the man rushing to break the window and ripping off the window screen during the fire. The deputy was responding to a call at around 3:20 am.
When he was interviewed by CNN, Martinez said:
“Just broke the window like I had to, that was the easiest thing to do. The front door was completely engulfed,”
Apparently, the older woman got trapped in the home while the rest of the family managed to escape. The window that was broken had a chest of drawers that had to still be pushed before the policeman could reach the woman.

In the video, he could be seen carrying the woman on his shoulder before laying her on the grass for paramedics to attend to her. Both of them were treated for smoke-inhalation and recovered.
