WATCH: An explanation as to why South Africans may have voted the way they did
Based on the results thus far, it is safe to say that social media trends are not to be trusted when it comes to the elections.
While people continue to comment on the results of the municipal elections held on November 1, a man in the below video explained why he would continue voting for his party of choice.
Millions of South African's headed to the polling stations yesterday to cast their votes. Voting stations were open until 9pm last night to ensure everyone was accommodated.
In a video shared on Twitter, we can see a man being asked why he voted for his specific party, and as he attempts to provide an explanation, it is clear who he voted for.

Even though the results are not 100% completed yet, at the current standing, his party of choice is leading in many areas.
