Gauteng has been in the grips of water restrictions, and it seems that things got much worse for Germiston residents following a massive burst pipe.

In the videos, you see a huge jet of water erupting from the ground clearing the tree line.
Rand Water was on the scene doing their best to fix the issue, however, residents were left without water while the pipe was repaired.

People were exasperated and commented: “This area is really exhausting. Like really… pick a struggle. This area cannot have a problem with everything. Every week it’s a challenge.”.
