Two dogs find new loving home after being repeatedly raped

With this caption, the Swartland & West Coast SPCA shared a heartwarming video of two dogs, Teddy and Toffee finding a new home after a group of people in Darling in the Western Cape allegedly used the dogs for sex.

After receiving a flood of calls asking if the perpetrators will be charged, the SPCA shared in a Facebook post that they have laid charges in in terms of the Animal Protection Act 21a; "a rape kit was used to get samples from Teddy. SAPS also have a case against the perpetrator for bestiality."

And who are Teddy and Toffie's new adoptive parents?
Bill and Trish Woodward, who at first came to apply to adopt just Teddy, but when they heard about Toffee this generous couple decided to adopt her as well.
"We did not have high hopes of adopting them out to the same family. These sweet sisters were so attached to each other that the thought of separating them was a heartsore affair," said the SPCA on their Facebook page.Manager, Louise van Zyl and the inspectors are tenacious at following up on the cases; "we will keep our finger on the pulse to ensure that everything is done to get justice for Teddy and Toffee."
