A restaurant chain called Karen’s Diner has been getting a lot of attention lately, and it is due to the way employees treat customers.

Karen’s Diner is based around emulating the rude behaviour exhibited by belligerent individuals online, who are termed ‘Karens’.
According to the video, the employees of the restaurant go out of their way to swear at customers and sometimes steal their food.

Some people loved the idea and commented: “Omg I cannot ahaha”. But it does raise the question of whether such a restaurant would flourish in South Africa.
