Recently, a Dutch company called Lightyear revealed their new solar-powered electric vehicle.

The ‘Lightyear 0’ has the incredible ability to give drivers an additional 70km of driving just from the solar panels on its bonnet and roof.
Besides the obvious advantage of the extra distance, the vehicle touts a solid 1,000km driving range between charging moments.

Such remarkable technology does come at a price, and the Lightyear 0 costs approximately R4,204,442 (250,000 Euros).
