"Online gaming can tackle unemployment issues in South Africa, but the problem is that there is no platform that educates generations about the different career paths that are available," says Xolani.
He goes further explaining how the pandemic opened doors for online gaming journalists, animators, developers as well as visual effect artists just to name a few.
Xolani is currently studying literature at the University of the Free State and this has opened doors for him. He currently has his own recognized online magazine "Project Blerd" which educates the township children about online gaming and also addresses mental health issues.
