Newsreader's awkward struggle through dog surfing story
Updated | By Lee-Roy Wright
Is this really what national and international news broadcasts have come to?
It seems that silly season has hit the UK and one reporter is not impressed - at all!
BBC News presenter Simon McCoy is so over it. In fact, not even a story about the World Dog Surfing Championship can get a smile out of him.
He even teases the segment with, "Just bear in mind, it is August", setting up the clip with as much silly season enthusiasm as he can muster.
Surely it can't be this difficult to report on adorable dogs surfing? It's not the stock market!
Nevertheless, he was not entertained by the report and his face says it all. Naturally, it's an hilarious moment for the audience watching.
