Newborn greets her father with biggest smile as she recognises his voice
This father’s special bond with his newborn child gave us goosebumps!
Like many parents, Flávio Dantas was more than excited to become a father. So much so every day leading up to the day his daughter was born, he would speak to his unborn child.
He couldn't begin to imagine how much his efforts would pay off once she was born.

Tarsila Batista, Flávio’s partner told The Hearty Soul, that Flávio would say “I’ll always be there” while stroking her growing belly. He did this every morning before Batista went to work. She further details how when he would do this, their baby would start kicking and moving.
When their baby girl was born at Marcílio Dias Naval Hospital in Rio de Janeiro she had the most heartwarming response to hearing her father’s voice for the first time - in person:
She opened her eyes and gave her father a big smile.
