Model collapses and dies on catwalk
Tragic news from Sao Paulo Fashion Week after a model collapsed and died on the runway during a show.
A Brazillian model has died after collapsing on the catwalk during the Sao Paulo Fashion Week.
Attendees had to rush from their seats to assist Tales Soares after he fell on the runway. Some thought he tripped over his shoelaces, while others thought it was part of the show, but after a short while, everyone knew something was wrong.
The model reportedly started foaming at the mouth as paramedics worked to save his life before rushing him to the nearest hospital. The 26-year-old was pronounced dead soon after.

A video of the horrific incident made its way to social media and is being shared widely.
A post by his agency, Base MGT, praised the model for his "exemplary behaviour".
Sao Paulo Fashion Week also shared a tribute to the fallen model on their Instagram page which, translated, reads: “May God welcome you with open arms! Life is definitely a catwalk, we’re just passing through!”
Soares’ cause of death is not yet known.
