Marathon runner breaks it down at Comrades water point
A Brazilian runner gave the Comrades crowd something else to cheer about on Sunday.
A video of a runner dancing to his heart's content at the Comrades is making everyone smile and we thought it would be great to share. The race itself is grueling and this young man had to be very brave to run the marathon, but we love him even more for his dance moves.
According to Good Things Guy, Iago Sampaio Marcal is a Brazilian runner who lives in Cape Town and runs for the Carbineers Western Province club. He finished his race in 10:17:49, earning himself a bronze.
The video was uploaded on Facebook by a page called Dala U Crew and has been shared all over Twitter too.
