'I did not have an affair, but crossed the line' – Adam Levine on cheating allegations

Levine came under fire after Instagram model Sumner Stroh accused him of
cheating.
In her initial video, Sumner shared screenshots of her conversations with the Maroon 5 front man and admitted that she had an affair with him.

In that first video, she also noted that Levine wanted to name his unborn child after Sumner.
Levine has since responded by releasing a statement on his Instagram account in the form of a story.
In the statement, Levine acknowledges that he exercised poor judgement, but did not have an affair.
He also went on to state that he has taken proactive steps to remedy the situation with his family and that he takes full responsibility.

Some people were confused by Levine’s word choice and commented: “If he didn’t cheat, then what did he cross a line doing?”
