Yarraka Bayles, Quaden's mother, shared a shocking video of her son to her Facebook page on Wednesday after picking him up from school.
In the video, young Quaden can be heard saying that he wants to die. His mother further mentions that her child is suicidal almost daily and this is the result of bullying.
Since the video went viral, American comedian Brad Williams wrote that he launched the fundraiser to show Quaden “there is good in the world” and claimed to be in touch directly with his mother.

Thousands of donors have chipped in to the GoFundme supporting the vacation for Quaden and the fund is currently sitting at just under R3-million.

The young boy has been bullied for a long time at school and his mother wanted other parents to teach their children about bullying and what it does to the victims.
“I’ve just picked my son up from school, witnessed a bullying episode, rang the principal, and I want people to know – parents, educators, teachers – this is the effect that bullying has,” Bayles said in the video, which has been viewed more than 17.8-million times and shared by more than 400,000 people.
