Known mainly for work as an entertainment industry anchor, presenter and actress Dineo Moeketsi is the quintessential South African media go-to girl. She stopped by to catch up with our very own Bridget Masinga on her latest movie release, “Mrs Right Guy” opening nationwide on Friday the 3rd of June.
Media darling Dineo Moeketsi’s star continues to rise.
Not only does she do the rounds in the entertainment industry, but she is also a bonafide movie actress to boot.
She stars in “Mrs Right Guy” with Thapelo Mokoena, Lehasa Moloi, Tau Maserumule and Thando Thabethe. It took two years to release “Mrs Right Guy”.
She talks through what audiences ought to expect of the movie: “I feel like the country will enjoy it, it’s so authentically South African. There are so many nuances that are just understood by South Africans only and of course, I mean in many parts of the world, I think it doesn’t have to be a language thing; I think just in terms of the performance, so many people will love this film for everything that it is. And it’s saying ‘this is our flavor of RomCom in South Africa’ and for me, it works!”
