Before you break up - watch this!
Updated | By Danny Painter
Do you remember Jay Shetty? He's that guy that became a monk after a misspent youth and is now known as the Millennial Monk, making wisdom trend?
Well, he's got some advice for you if you've reached the end of your rope in your marriage or relationship and it might be hard to hear!
"love never dies a natural death, love dies of unrealistic expectations". Hollywood lies to us, overamplifies what it looks like, and we expect our love to look like it does in the 'Notebook' or some similar romance blockbuster.
When you reach that point, the point where you just don't care anymore, it's time to look at why, before you break up. Not just in the hope of fixing your relationship, but in the hope that it may fix you.
We are all flawed, and things like ego, gossip, lies, control, and envy can slowly seep into even the strongest relationship and eat away at it over time.
WATCH : A former monk tells you the one thing you need to hear!
So, before you break up, end things and move on. It may be time to take a long, hard look in the mirror and at each other and perhaps you'll find that was once broken can very easily be fixed.
