Good Morning Angels: R20,000 to build a room for aunt and uncle
Jessica has been lovingly caring for her aunt and uncle for three years, but needs some extra help to provide them with the dignity of a room to sleep in.
BACKGROUND: Jessica Jonker has been providing a home for her aunt Ronel and uncle Douglas Miller for almost three years. They both lost their jobs and all they had in 2016.
They have been living in a caravan in Jessica’s backyard in Boksburg where she and her husband and two children live. The caravan is not sealed and is very cold at night. Jessica wants to build them a small, basic room, but she does not have the funds. Douglas works as a car guard and they cannot afford any other living arrangements. Dear Good Morning Angels,
Please help me to help two dear, helpful and loving people. They currently live in my yard in a caravan, which is freezing cold at night with only the necessities. The aunt, Ronel is unemployed and the uncle, Douglas is a car guard at a mall, so they do not earn any fixed income every month.
To make life a little more comfortable and warmer for them, I want to build them a small living area. I have already obtained several quotes and the total cost of the one we have on call is R 20 000.
I want to set it up with love for them but need the funds for it. That is why today I ask for everyone's donations, no matter how small, to help a fellow human being.
The help and support of everyone who reads here is much needed and will be sincerely appreciated. If it is not possible to contribute, we ask that you keep us in your prayers and that the light in the tunnel will continue to shine.
The R 20 000 includes the following.
• 4 x 6 meter room with 1 door and 3 windows
• All building materials and the transport thereof
• Building of the room (labour)
