President Cyril Ramaphosa addressed the nation on the response to the commission of inquiry into state capture report on Sunday and updated the nation on the measures that have been implemented or will be implemented.
Amongst other actions, the South African Revenue Service has collected over R4-billion in unpaid taxes, a major step in the right direction.

Ramaphosa has also stated that "As a result of this work, the Investigating Directorate that we established within the National Prosecuting Authority has to date enrolled 26 cases, declared 89 investigations and 165 accused persons have appeared in court for alleged state capture-related offences".
