And we love it when South Africans not only create their own, but then also join in on the fun.
A local content creator, @cairo_cpt, recently uploaded a video on TikTok where he decided to show off his dance moves by doing the Sobanana Phambili Challenge with a twist.
He wasn't doing it alone.

Instead, he had the staff of a Pick n Pay supermarket, who were keen to also show us what they've got, join him in the video and it became an instant hit with viewers.
The video now has over 1.1-million hits and the comments have been overwhelmingly positive.
