Trying to brew your own beer is possible, but at the end of the day, heading to a store and buying a six-pack is easier than investing time, money, and effort into creating your own.
That might be changing soon.
Neuzeller Klosterbräu, a German brewery that has been in the business for over 500 years, is constantly creating new beer innovations and flavours - and its latest offering is quite exceptional.

They have created the first-ever powdered beer.
All you have to do is add water and you've got a non-alcoholic beer you can enjoy!
The brewery’s general manager, Stefan Fritsche, has said that this is only the beginning of this new beer.

Fritsche has said that an alcoholic version will be released soon, even though the current non-alcoholic beer tastes and even looks like regular beer.
While this might be the most exciting beverage innovation we've heard of, Fritsche has made it very clear that he has a bunch of other interesting and boundary-pushing ideas up his sleeve.
[We’re also creating a] bath beer, so you can even take a bath inside the beer. We have 42 different types of beers which we are producing right now, even gluten-free beer and non-alcoholic beer.
He even said when thinking of new ideas, his strategy is asking himself one simple question: “How can I destroy my own company?”.
If it seems like there is any possibility, then he knows they have to work on the idea before someone else does.
