As many people grew up with the Harry Potter books and then movies, it holds a special place in many people's lives, no matter how old they might be.

One of the most famous settings in the films is undoubtedly the Great Hall, where the sorting into the different Hogwarts houses takes place and so much more.
The Great Hall is also where the fabulous and delicious-looking feasts took place and as you would watch the movies, you would most likely find your stomach growling and your appetite increasing as you saw the incredible dishes on the massive tables in front of the students.

However, not all the food you see in these shots were real and edible.
While filming 'Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone', director Chris Columbus even had to warn the kids not to eat some of the food, no matter how good it looked:

Another cool cinematic trick that has been revealed is how they filmed Harry Potter actor Daniel Radcliffe running into the train platform wall, famously known as Platform 9 3/4:

While all of this might seem obvious to us now when you watch a movie, you don't really think about the technical bits... that would take the magic away.
