Having your phone in close proximity and easily accessible is what most people prefer. We see it everywhere; in restaurants, at work, and even on the roads.

The Drive with Rob and Roz is divided regarding the turning off of notifications. Sports presenter on The Drive with Rob & Roz, Joe Mann, says turning off notifications won't work for him, he needs to see what is going on. He maintains that he has a balance between using his phone and relaxing.
Rob Forbes says "My phone does not flash, it does not ring. The only thing I have left on is SMS notifications so that I can see when the bank is doing things".
