Kylie Jenner has been dethroned as the most followed woman on Instagram

Kylie Jenner and her famous family are consistently sharing almost every aspect of their lives with followers, viewers, and fans.

Whether it’s on television or social media, everyone wants to know what America’s version of the “royal family” is getting up to.
While Jenner has been making headlines recently for some Selena Gomez related-drama it seems like this new development in the world of Instagram might only be throwing fuel on the fire.

Kylie Jenner currently has over 380 million followers on the app and has just lost her title as the most-followed woman on Instagram.
She has been overtaken by Selena Gomez who has more than 382 million followers gaining a lead of over 2 million followers.

However, this might not be for long as the former Disney star has just announced that she will be taking another social media hiatus after she only just returned to the app in January 2023.
Selena Gomez reveals on a short TikTok Live that she’ll be “taking a second from social media” after commenting on videos about Hailey Bieber and Kylie Jenner.

This news comes after the aforementioned drama has escalated further.
It all started when a TikTok user made a video about Kylie Jenner and Hailey Bieber, accusing them of making fun of Selena.
Kylie and Selena both replied to the TikTok video saying that they only have love for one another and these theories were all invalid:

However, it was then shared on social media that Gomez had previously commented on videos featuring Hailey Bieber and her comments were not favourable:

Fans of the Biebers and Gomez have made it very clear that while they might be trying to leave the past in the past, no one else is going to forget their infamous relationship.
