Coffee drinkers across the world have various interesting and unique ways they choose to enjoy a fresh brew.
Some like to add butter, known as 'bulletproof coffee', others prefer some classic sweet syrups.

The latest innovation in coffee culture comes from the one and only Starbucks.
The coffee giant recently unveiled a new line of coffees in Italy, which is also set to debut in the USA soon.

The new line is called 'Oleato' and uses cold-pressed, virgin olive oil as Starbucks was inspired by the Italian generations-long family tradition of consuming a spoon of olive oil daily.
During my first trip to Milan in 1983, I was captivated by the sense of community, connection, and passion for coffee I found in the city’s espresso bars. It was that trip that inspired me to bring the ritual of handcrafted espresso to Starbucks and to America. Oleato represents the next revolution in coffee that brings together an alchemy of nature’s finest ingredients – Starbucks arabica coffee beans and Partanna cold pressed extra virgin olive oil. Today I feel just as inspired as I did 40 years ago, Oleato has opened our eyes to fresh new possibilities and a transformational way to enjoy our daily coffee.

The line includes the following: Oleato™ Caffè Latte, Oleato™ Iced Shaken Espresso and Oleato™ Golden Foam™ Cold Brew. The Starbucks Reserve Roastery Milan will also debut five beverages to customers on Feb. 22: Oleato™ Caffè Latte, Oleato™ Iced Cortado, Oleato™ Golden Foam™ Cold Brew, Oleato™ Deconstructed and Oleato™ Golden Foam™ Espresso Martini
But what are the benefits of consuming olive oil daily?
According to Healthline, there are many different benefits to consuming olive oil as it’s full of antioxidants, which could help fight heart disease, and many studies show that it can reduce your risk of having a stroke.

Whether or not these benefits will translate when combined with coffee is too early to tell, but it will definitely make an interesting talk topic at the next dinner party when you decant some oil into your after-dinner espresso.
