Expert explains how you take in more nicotine with e-cigarettes and vapes
Updated | By The Drive with Rob & Roz
While
e-cigarettes may be a safer alternative to traditional ones, some restraint in
their use may benefit you.
Dr Dawkins, an expert on e-cigarettes, conducted a study to determine how much nicotine e-cigarette smokers took in during a year and the results were surprising.

Dawkins says that e-cigarette smokers usually started the year taking in a higher level of nicotine, but then later adjusted their intake to match traditional levels.
She also noted that while it seems that some people who vape do so non-stop, the reason is because e-cigarettes take longer to deliver nicotine to the bloodstream.
This means that e-cigarette users will spends more time smoking to receive the same amount of nicotine as opposed to traditional cigarettes.

So, it should be noted that while e-cigarettes are a safer alternative to traditional cigarettes, moderation is always a benefit.
